Home-Start Arun, Worthing and Adur present ‘An afternoon with international social media sensation and self-confessed ‘rubbish’ Pet Portraits artist, Hercule Van Wolfwinkle’.

An original portrait of your own pet, drawn by Van Wolfwinkle, is the prize in a raffle which will be drawn at an afternoon of discussion, artistry, live drawings, a Q&A session, prizes of Hercule merch and games in aid of Home-Start, Arun, Worthing & Adur.

Van Wolfwinkle’s rise to fame in 2020 began as a joke. He drew a ‘rubbish’ picture of his dog and put it on Facebook, offering paid-for commissions for a laugh.

But genuine requests flooded in, and the artist – who has now raised more than £200k for local charities from his inept pet drawings – has a world-wide profile, recent winner at the Just Giving Awards and recipient of a Points of Light Award.

Home-Start AWA is a local charity which helps families with children under five who are struggling, with emotional, practical and confidential support, via their network of volunteers and experts along the South coast.
