Jonathon Strange studied violin with Hugh Maguire & Frederick Grinke at the Royal Academy of Music, and later with Roy Gillard.

In a varied career, he has toured the world as a member of the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, & other orchestra’s, & was co-leader of the London Mozart Players. Along with Kenneth Essex & Denis Vigay, he is a member of the Lansdowne String Trio. In the studios, he works with stars of Hollywood movies. He performs on a Grancho violin of 1689.

Jonathon Welch was a member of the London Symphony Orchestra.
