This will be our third Fatal Shore festival of crime writing, led by best-selling authors Elly Griffiths and William Shaw and featuring 20 crime and thriller writers at the top of their game, including the celebrated Peter James.
Open Mic Slam Creative Writing, Poetry and Flash Fiction
Creative writers and people who enjoy hearing new work are invited to come along for a fun open mic slam.  Writers can read from their original work of fiction, poetry or flash fiction for a maximum three minutes, selected randomly before each half.
An Introduction to Flash Fiction with Anika Carpenter
In this two-hour workshop Anika Carpenter will discuss the story telling possibilities that flash fiction offers, introduce some of the various styles and share examples of well-loved pieces of flash fiction.
