Event Date:
Start time: 10:30 A peer support group for friend and family members who look after someone with mental health issues. Worthing Rethink is a peer support group for people who look after someone with mental health issues. We meet at The Happy Teapot Cafe (opposite Worthing Library), on the first Wednesday of the month, from 10:30am until 1pm. As this meeting is in a public space, conversations about personal issues may be overheard. So, talking about specific issues is at the individuals discretion. However, we do everything we can to mitigate this. Being a drop-in meeting you can stay for 5 minutes, the whole 2.5 hours, or any point in between. We have two other meetings. An in-person meeting held at Meadowfield Hospital, on the fourth Monday of the month at 7pm, usually with a guest speaker (call for more information) who are experts in their field. Time is also made for peer support. We also have a virtual meeting which takes place on the second Monday. Worthing Rethink is affiliated to Rethink Mental Illness, a national mental health charity. All meetings are free. Adult: no charge Child: no charge Child Age Limit: Concession Details: Name: Mark Hughes Telephone: 07763 082094 Email: mark.hughes@rethinkassociates.org Address:
