Start time: 14:00 Welcoming Gill Walby to cover some history of the Women’s Royal Naval Service. We welcome new and current members on the 2nd Thursday of each month (excl. Aug) at West Chiltington Village Hall and have a variety of interesting speakers. For further information please see our website. No charge for the first three meetings. Gill will cover a little about the history of the Women’s Royal Naval Service who played a crucial role in operations during two world wars. They continue to serve at home and abroad with roles expanding to reflect rising recognition of women’s capabilities.
