Aug) at West Chiltington Village Hall and have a variety of interesting speakers. For further information please see our website. No charge for the first three meetings. This month Michelle Stokes will talk about the work of Family Support who help children & families through difficult times in their lives including low income & poverty; mental or physical ill health; disability; learning difficulties; school non-attendance & exclusion; bereavement; family break-up & domestic abuse. They assist children & parents/carers to resolve problems, develop confidence & resilience & improve relationships. Working closely with schools to they help to support children to stay in mainstream education & do well. Their aim is to support parents as they try to ensure that their children have the best start in life. 18th June: Frances Farrer-Brown will talk about the training & amusing experiences of a Blue Badge Guide.
