Start time: 10:00 Superb rural garden near Haslemere open for The National Garden Scheme. The garden at Whitehanger is set in 6 acres on the edge of the South Downs National Park surrounded by NT woodland. This superb rural garden was started in 2012 when a new Huf house was built on the derelict site. Features include lawned areas with beds of perennials, a serenity pool with koi carp, a wildflower meadow, a Japanese garden, a sculpture garden, a woodland walk, a large rockery and an exotic walled garden. Open for the National Garden Scheme Sun 2nd July, Sun 6th, Sun 27th Aug (10-3). Admission £6.50, children £6.50. Pre-booking essential, please visit www.ngs.org.uk for information & booking.
