Start time: 19:00 Music for summer, inspired by nature, in celebration of love In Brighton Consort’s continuing series of events focussing on the work of William Byrd, this concert will present several works from Byrd’s lesser-known secular choral repertoire. Paired with this will be a wider selection of music from the period, both secular and sacred, referencing nature, plants, and animals, and how these ideas intertwined with love poetry during the Renaissance.
