Raising funds and community spirit Join us for 5 races, food and drink, village day stalls, rodeo bull, teacup rides, inflatables, beat the goalie, the brilliant Samba drumming crew from Drum and Blaze and heaps more. The Bolney Pram Race is a fancy dress, charity event that sees pairs of runners taking turns to push and sit in a self-propelled pram, following a course through Bolney village and stopping at “pit stops” on the way. This is a community event that has been held in Bolney dating back to the 1980s and has been revived over the years by various licensees of The Eight Bells, Bolney. It’s fun! There are categories for all ages, and while it can of course be competitive, it also embodies good sportsmanship, community spirit and provides an opportunity to get to know your neighbours a bit better.
