Parking off A272 at Trotton Farm Neil’s Batchelor’s degree is in Theology and Religion with a special interest in the beliefs and practices of the Western Church in the Middle Ages. From his first sight of the Trotton wall painting he has been captivated by its striking simplicity yet enigmatic message. He has spent a good part of the last year studying the painting and untangling it so as to understand what it is really telling us.
