Shakespeare hasn’t written anything new for an age, so the Shake It Up team thought they’d give him a hand… Using his language, suggestions from the audience and the overactive imaginations of the troupe’s professional actors, they create a brand new Shakespeare play live on stage! Complete with live music from the group’s talented band, along with songs and plenty of laughs, they weave together the themes, characters and language of Shakespeare to create an unforgettable evening that the Bard himself would have been proud to pen (…probably!) This show is presented with support of Applause Rural Touring. At a Shake It Up show, the audience helps the intrepid improvisors make up an entirely new Shakespeare play on the spot!
