Inspired by the teachings of Jacques Lecoq, this 10 session course will encourage you to unleash the creative possibilities within clown work. The aim is to help you find that magical place where everything is possible, where the mind, heart and body integrate into the authentic simplicity of the theatre clown. Aimed at actors, theatre-makers, musicians, dancers and circus performers who would like to research and develop skills in theatrical clowning, the course will help you discover and develop your own clown persona, understand timing, technique and performance of this fascinating art form. You’ll develop confidence and trust in your impulses so that you bring the joy of laughter to your audiences.
