Start time: 09:30 Budding astronauts aged 4 – 8 craft their own rocket. 9.30am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm Young visitors are invited to embark on a journey into space. Check into the Space Station and join Astronauts to create your very own rocket! Then take it on its maiden flight around a specially created space course to earn your Rocket Licence, before flying off home for more adventures. Each mini space explorer will have 30 minutes to build their very own rocket and then 15 minutes flying time. They will decorate cardboard rockets with paint and colouring pens so its best not to wear favourite outfits (just in case). Grown-ups are asked to stay at the space station with their children during this time. Why not set off for the Café on the Park afterwards for a much-needed space snack and discover family friendly areas?
