Start time: 10:00 Research & Innovation in Sussex Excellence (RISE) is a project to support businesses in West Sussex to access unique university expertise In response to the impact of the pandemic on the tourism and hospitality sectors, the RISE project led by the University of Brighton is offering Sussex-based SMEs fully subsidised access to expert university support, including an opportunity to work with an academic to develop or improve a specific product or service. On 19th May at 10am, join a 30 minute Introductory Webinar to learn how RISE can support businesses to innovate. People will virtually meet the team of Innovation Advisors, learn how to book a free ‘Innovation Audit’ and how to access up to £5,000 of bespoke funding to unlock expertise from either Brighton or Sussex University to work directly on their own innovation projects. The team will also explain how to get the most out of the RISE portal, with their knowledge section full of webinars & toolkits, and how to connect with like-minded innovators.
