Start time: 10:00 Repair Café, TerraCycle and Sustainable Christmas Market Repair Café, TerraCycle and Sustainable Christmas Market Arundel Repair Café is a not-for-profit initiative which aims to prevent mendable items from going into landfill sites, saving us all money and resources. It was founded in Holland and is now International, with Repair Cafes as far apart as the USA and Australia. In Arundel, we have repaired items such as toasters, vacuum cleaners, lamps, laptops, broken ornaments, small furniture, jewellery and clothing. Tea and cakes are also part of the deal! We are all volunteers and more menders are always welcome! TerraCycle is another idea to prevent waste, this time by recycling things not usually taken by the Council. For example, coffee and cheese packaging, ball point pens, used deodorant and spray pump containers.
