Weâll consider the effects of techniques in published poems, including some of Johnâs work. Writing exercises will explore the technique of freewriting and thereâll be discussion too around keeping notebooks, recycling images and phrases, assembling your own anthologies to learn from and the different ways in which reading widely in poetry can strengthen your own writing.
