Start time: 10:00 Making infusions and ointments with aromatic and medicinal botanical ingredients. Learn how to capture the fragrance of a flower or to harness the medicinal qualities of a herb. In this practical workshop people will make and take home their own plant infused oil that can be used as a perfume, a bath oil, in skin care or for health & wellbeing purposes. People can feel confident to use plants from their garden, from herbal suppliers or even wild foraged to make botanical products for use in skin care and for health and wellbeing support. With the aromatic oils Borde Hill makes, people will then learn how to use them as an ingredient in an ointment, designing and making their own to suit personal health and wellbeing requirements. Everything will be provided for you, although you may want to bring your own pen and notebook. No experience necessary, open to all.
