Event Information

A talk by one of Britain’s foremost sculptors, local resident Philip Jackson CVO.

Tickets £10 each. Doors open at 7pm, with bar offering a selection of beers, wines and soft drinks, with payment by card/contactless or cash.

Philip Jackson will share insights into how he has established a worldwide reputation for public and private commissions, looking back at his 60 plus years of sculpting.
He’ll review how he has captured the essence of the icons who have been his subjects, ranging from high-profile works in London, such as Queen Elizabeth II on The Mall and in Windsor Great Park, Bobby Moore at Wembley Stadium, the recent Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park and Mahatma Gandhi in Parliament Square to an outstanding portfolio of “gallery” works, including his instantly recognisable, monumental Venice-inspired sculptures. More locally, his St Richard and Christ in Judgement are major displays at Chichester Cathedral.

Philip Jackson has received multiple awards and honours.
