Start time: 18:15 Experience nature in a new way using ultrasonic and ultraviolet. Discover nature in a different way on our ‘nature by night’ safari. We’ll find out about animal super senses and use special equipment to get a glimpse into their nocturnal world. You’ll be listening out for bats ultrasonic calls using bat detectors and exploring the woods seeking out fungi, lichens and invertebrates using UV torches, finding out more about biofluorescence. We’ll then return to the café terrace for hot drinks and use a special thermal viewer to spot nocturnal wildlife as it explores the nature reserve.
