Start time: 12:00 The garden at Durrance Manor Shipley is open in support of NGS charities The beautiful 2-acre garden at Durrance Manor surrounds the medieval hall house (not open). The garden enjoys uninterrupted views over a ha-ha of the South Downs and Chanctonbury Ring. There are many different areas including Japanese inspired gardens, a large pond, wildflower meadow and orchard, colourful long borders and a vegetable garden. There is also a Monet style bridge over a pond with water lilies. Durrance Manor Smithers Hill Lane Shipley, Horsham RH13 8PE is open for the National Garden Scheme on Monday 26th August, 12.00 pm to 6pm Admission £8, children free. Home-made teas. Visits also by arrangement 1 May to 22 Sept for groups of 10 to 30. Home-made teas inc. Refreshments in aid of St Mary’s Church, Shipley. Plants in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice & William Templeton Foundation for Young Peoples Mental Health.
