Start time: 19:00 Lewes Music Group Orchestra and Lewes Singers present… Vivaldi – Gloria, Mozart – Symphony No. 41 Start off the New Year with one of Vivaldi’s most popular sacred work, Gloria as well as Mozart’s 41st Symphony – Jupiter. This is the perfect opportunity to indulge yourself in the richness of Mozart’s last Symphony. Composed in 1788, it is considered to be one of the greatest pieces in Classical music. Whether you consider yourself a classical music expert or a first time listener, this setting will be a perfect concert to kick off the New Year. This evening will be the launch of the Lewes Music Group Orchestra – a new ensemble part of the Lewes Music Group formed with young professional musicians who are currently studying or have recently graduated from UK conservatoires and Universities such as Royal College of Music, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Royal Academy of Music and Oxford University.
