Start time: 10:00 “This exhibition explores my love of colour, particularly in nature.” “This exhibition explores my love of colour, particularly in nature, searching for the physical reaction I feel when certain colours dance together on the canvas. I question whether we all see colour the same, is my blue your blue, is the vibrant green of the grass I see and feel the same for you? Landscape, abstract and still life paintings come together in a cacophony of colour.” Liz English is a local artist who works in mixed media expressing herself through a variety of subject matter and styles. The unifying thread through all of it is colour. Now based in West Sussex, Liz has also lived and exhibited in Italy and Kuwait. Her work is very often a celebration of or reaction against the emotions living in these environments provoked. Liz is represented by Atherton Green Art Gallery.
