Start time: 08:00 A stunning floral display sure to wow all the senses, in an historic Downland church. St Giles Church will be decorated under the direction of Georgina Macqueen, who has served previously as festival designer for Chichester Cathedral’s Festival of Flowers and many other high profile floral displays, with friends and St Giles’ flower arrangers. You might just catch some live music when you visit, including an organ, piano, harp, etc. Open every day throughout the festival from 8am to 8pm, except when weddings are being held there each Saturday between 1-3.30pm, and available only to ticket holders when concerts are taking place in the church in the evening. No bookings needed – just turn up! No entrance fee – although donations to St Giles Church via contactless or online while there welcome. All very welcome! Ploughman’s lunches will be available 12 noon-2.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday, 18 and 20 June.
