Start time: 11:00 A masterclass and workshop session for East Sussex music students with an informal performance. As part of our HPO Open Doors project, HPO are offering the opportunity for East Sussex Music Students to work and perform alongside the HPO professional musicians. Principal players from the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra, will host a Masterclass and Workshop Day at Christ Church St Leonards-on-Sea on Saturday 17th July from 11:00am, culminating in an informal student performance at 3:15pm. Students will be encouraged to develop their performance and display the progress they have made in our informal student concert which will take place at the end of the workshop – at 3.15pm. Each member of the HPO has extensive experience in a professional orchestral setting as well as teaching experience, and if you are passionate about your instrument then our Masterclass could help to take your favourite pieces to the next level!
