Start time: 19:30 Christ’s Hospital Choral Society and Orchestra’s performance of Haydn’s masterpiece ‘The Creation’ is an impressive work of music composed by Joseph Haydn, and was described as a Sensation! from the very first performance. It tells the story of the creation of the world as narrated in Genesis. Haydn was an extremely successful composer and director at the Esterhazy court in the 18th century, but his music is ever popular because it is so beautiful.
