The historic Warminghurst Church decked out by the local community with an array of Christmas trees, decorated to represent businesses, societies, schools and charities. There are refreshments, stalls, and a raffle together with live music. Taking place from 3rd-5th December with free entrance. Warminghurst Church is a historic 13th century church that stands alone between the villages of Ashington and Thakeham, with views overlooking Chanctonbury Ring on the South Downs. No longer in service in the parish, it was vested to the Churches Conservation Trust in 1980, a charitable trust that maintains and preserves these historic buildings for future generations. The Friends of the church are a volunteer group that works to put on events and encourage visitors to the church.
