Start time: 19:30 The Boundstone Chorus present a celebration of John Rutter and Aedan Kerney for their 80th birthdays Celebrating the 80th birthdays of composers and musicians John Rutter and Aedan Kerney, The Boundstone Chorus will perform music by both Rutter and Kerney in this special concert. John Rutter’s music is known and performed all over the world and many of his pieces have become standards in choir repertoire. He has composed or arranged many Christmas carols and earning the nickname ‘Mr Christmas’ by Classic FM. Aedan Kerney was Director of Music at Boundstone Community College, Lancing for 41 years and built a reputation for breadth and quality of music education with a local, national and international reputation. His legacy lives on with more than fifty past students who have gone on to become music teachers themselves while others have established themselves within the wider world of music. This concert celebrates their birthdays with performances of music by both Rutter and Kerney.
