When Kate, also a regular singer, arrives, she is devastated to hear that Mitch has decided to call ‘time’ and will be singing his last song tonight. Chrissie needs her first one to go well and Mitch, her star turn, to stay. Kate has a new song. The crowd are ready. In this room, on this night, there is hope and there is love.
