Enchanted Horsham Reveals its Eclectic Music Line Up

The much awaited music line up for this summers Enchanted Horsham’s festival has been announced. Taking place in Horsham Park on the 27th, 28th and 29th July, this not to be missed extravaganza of theatre, entertainment, food, drink, fashion and music is set to really wow the whole family.

As you become immersed in all that is Enchanted Horsham, you will see and hear roving bands and beautiful soundscapes drifting throughout the festival. With a different line up each day, you can find an eclectic mix of reggae, acoustic, jazz, swing, samba and salsa on the main stage, before you sit back and relax to the soulful sounds that fill the Cider and Reggae bar.

Starting on Friday 27th July The Mountain Firework Company described as “gorgeous folk and alternative country pop, with equal parts darkness and cheeky humour” will take to the stage, along with Mr Anchovy’s Loop-Pedal Madness, Harry’s Tricks with their Jazz and Swing and Hotpot’s Gypsy Jazz.

Saturday brings back Harry’s Tricks playing 1920’s, 1930’s and 1940’s popular music from Britain and America as they combine the influences of Fats Waller, Al Bowlly, Slim Gaillard and Billie Holiday, to create their distinctive interpretations of classic songs. But if you are looking for something different, see The Scorchers playing Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae, listen to Salsadelic with their Latino rhythms and revel in those well-known favourites with The Spinettes Vintage Timeless Classics.

New for Sunday is the King’s Lagoon Flying Swordfish Dance Band with their compelling mix of African and South American rhythms and melodies. In addition you can see, hear and experience Choro Bandido’s choro, samba and Latin America inspired music mixes, along with Uke’s Away the unique ukulele orchestra and Harry’s Tricks Jazz and Swing vibes.

And then, to complete a day that will be filled with a riot of music, dance and theatre and laughter don’t miss the UV paint party with silent disco in The Neon Circus Tent. Kicking off at 9pm to dance you through to midnight, The Soapbox Circus and Judi and the Doodlecats will amaze with their fire performers, acrobats, jugglers, LED hoopers, trapeze artists and magicians, as you dance the night away to your chosen beats.

Tickets are available from www.enchantedhorsham.co.uk and the promotional code LOCAL will provide you with a 25% discount until the end of June.
