Times are tough for charities globally as fundraising activities are put on hold. Close Knit are the fundraising branch of EmbraceAbility, a not for profit helping those with disabilities on Koh Dach Island – or Silk Island – in Cambodia.
This time of year the charity would usually be throwing some beach-side boogies to help raise funds, but with all that, on hold due to the pandemic, they have been brainstorming new ways to fundraise and make evenings more exciting!
Close Knit are so proud to announce the launch of their Spices from Silk Island Spice Box. Your very own DIY meal kit containing 4 Cambodian inspired recipes and spices delivered straight to your door.
With recipes such as Lemongrass Chicken Skewers and mouth watering Samla Curry, you will soon be cooking up a storm! As part of the exciting launch, Close Knit are offering a 10% early bird discount for pre-orders this week for the first batch of lucky chefs, valid until Friday 24th July at 4pm!
All proceeds will go to EmbraceAbility, with £5 from every box providing nutritious meals for children at their Community Daycare & Rehabilitation Centre, the first of its kind, opening soon. Help us cook for a cause by buying a spice box today!
