Children’s TV Legend to Support Hospice in Worthing

Dave Benson Phillips

On Wednesday 26th September, children’s TV legend, Dave Benson Phillips (Get Your Own Back, Playhouse Disney, The Fun Song Factory) will be a bingo caller at the Rose and Crown Public House, Worthing from 7:30pm.

The event will be in-aid of St Barnabas House, a hospice based in Worthing which provides palliative care to adults with advanced progressive life-limiting illnesses.

Dave Benson Phillips committed: “This is a fantastic opportunity to raise some much needed funds for St Barnabas House, while having a great night out.”

“I would like to thank Caremark (Worthing & Arun) for asking me to get involved. I hope the local community come out to support us on Wednesday 26th September at 7:30pm.”

Managing Director of Caremark (Worthing & Arun), Andrew Demetriou said: “After going to have a look around St Barnabas House this year, we felt that we really needed to get behind the charity and try to raise as much money and awareness as we can.”

“St Barnabas House costs £5.9 million each year to run. Without donations, they would not be able to provide care and support for families across Sussex.”

“We thought this would be a fun way to raise some money and I would like to say a massive thank you to the local community for supporting us with all our fundraising efforts this year.”

Tickets for the event will only be £10 (plus bf) which will include 6 games of bingo. This event will sell out fast and tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be over 18 to attend this event.

Tickets will be available on the Caremark (Worthing & Arun) Facebook Page, Eventbrite and directly from the Rose and Crown Public House, Worthing.
