Businesses are urged to have their say

People making plans

Businesses throughout the district are being urged by Chichester District Council to have their say on current business conditions and what support they would like to see from the council.

The council has launched an online survey at until Sunday 26 August, which asks about local businesses and the conditions they operate in.

The survey also asks about a number of issues from premises and location to recruitment and skills.

Information gathered from the survey will help to shape the council’s economic development strategy from 2019 – 2024. This sets out how the council aims to support local businesses in the Chichester District.

Every Chichester District business that completes the survey will be entered into a draw to win £50 for a Chichester-based charity of their choice.

“Local businesses play a critical role in our communities and the council is committed to helping them succeed,” says Councillor Tony Dignum, Leader of Chichester District Council.

“We would encourage businesses to take part because this information will be used to shape what support, business accommodation and grants we will provide over the next five years – and so it’s vital that we have their input.”
