Horsham District Council’s Museum and Art Gallery Curator Jeremy Knight enjoyed a blue ribbon day last Friday (16 March) when he was given special recognition for his 30 years’ service as Curator to the Museum by The High Sheriff of West Sussex, Lady Emma Barnard.
The award recognises the appreciation of the residents and people of The High Sheriff’s County for exceptional activity and contribution in enhancing the life of the community.
Commenting on the award, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure Cllr Jonathan Chowen said:
“We all congratulate Jeremy for this significant recognition which is so well deserved. He works tirelessly to make Horsham Museum and Art Gallery the very best that it can be – a treasure trove and tribute to local culture, arts and heritage.”
