Andrew Griffith MP has launched a competition for children up to 12 years to design his Christmas card.
Andrew’s Christmas card this year will be sent to more than 2,000 people, including the Prime Minister, so will be a very special opportunity for a young artist to see their work reproduced and given wider circulation. He will also write a letter of thanks to every child who sends a Christmas picture, and will put their pictures in his online gallery on his website.
Andrew has invited local artist and children’s book illustrator Ruth Waters (www.ruth-waters.com) to help choose the best ones. There will be a prize for the winning artwork and for 7 runners-up.
The rules and how to submit a picture are listed on Andrew’s website page: www.andrewgriffithmp.com/christmas.
The closing date is Friday 19th November and winners will be announced the following week.
