Pitch your business and win £10,000
Small Business Goes Big with Adobe Express is giving you the chance to pitch your business to the best of British retailers and industry experts, and an opportunity to win a share of £10,000.
Create a pitch video for your business using Adobe Express, a free web and mobile app – you don’t need any design experience to participate.
Winners will have the opportunity to pitch live on stage at the StartUp Show in London in January 2023. There’s also a prize pool of £10,000 up for grabs, which the judges will distribute on the day.
Which small businesses can enter
Any small business, micro-business, freelancer or sole trader can enter, however you must:
- Be based in the UK
- Have fewer than 20 employees
- Operate in one of these sectors: Food and drink, Homewares, Fashion and jewellery, Beauty, Health, leisure and wellbeing
Closing date and judging process
The competition will close at midnight on 8th January 2023. The panel of judges includes buyers from Boots UK, Planet Organic, Rude Health, George Clothing at Asda and TikTok Shop.
Shortlisted businesses and winners will be invited to a live pitching event in London on 28th January 2023, where winners will present to the buyers alongside their pitch video. Winners will receive training, support and advice to make sure their pitches are as impressive as the businesses themselves.
Entering the competition using Adobe Express
Step 1: Create your video
Use Adobe Express to quickly and easily create a pitch video that introduces buyers to you, your brand and your product(s). Videos can be a maximum of two minutes long and judging will stop at two minutes if entries are any longer. As winning videos will be made publicly available, do not include any sensitive business information. Winners will have the opportunity to speak to buyers privately after the live show.
Step 2: Submit your video
Once you’ve created your pitch video, you can upload and submit it with your application form.
