A27 Road Closure

A27 Chichester Road to Crossbush

Osbourne, on behalf of Highways England, will be carrying out resurfacing to address carriageway defects on the A27 between Long Lane, Arundel to Crossbush Roundabout. The works will include the resurfacing of defective areas, new road markings and studs and high friction surfacing on roundabout approaches.

In order to carry out these works as efficiently and safely as possible, work will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am utilising full carriageway closures from Thursday 30 April to Friday 15 May 2020 from 8pm to 6am, weeknights only. Weekends may be considered as a contingency and the works are weather dependent.

Emergency vehicles will always be provided with access through the works.

Residents with access only from the A27 will be provided with escorted access, though there may be a short wait whilst the works area is made safe.
